Godrej Properties Poised to Surpass ₹27,000 Crore FY25 Sales Target Amid Robust Demand
Godrej Properties Ltd, a leading name in India’s real estate sector, is on track to surpass its ambitious sales target for the fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25). The Mumbai-based developer has already achieved 71% of its ₹27,000 crore sales guidance, driven by robust housing demand and strategic expansions.
In the first nine months of FY25, the company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,018 crore, marking a significant 301% increase from ₹254 crore in the same period last year. Total income rose by 74% to ₹4,203 crore, up from ₹2,410 crore in the previous year.
To support its growth trajectory, Godrej Properties successfully raised ₹6,000 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) in December 2024. The funds are earmarked primarily for land acquisitions, aligning with the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in key markets.
The company has been proactive in securing new projects, adding six land parcels in the second quarter of FY25, with plans to develop housing projects worth ₹9,650 crore. This expansion is expected to further strengthen its presence in major cities and cater to the growing housing demand.
Despite a 66% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹34.85 crore for the quarter ended December 2024, the company’s total income for the quarter rose by 29% to ₹585.41 crore, reflecting its resilience and strong operational performance.
Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Chairperson of Godrej Properties, emphasized the company’s focus on profitable growth, stating that there is significant potential to increase market share in the coming years. With a robust launch pipeline, a strong balance sheet, and sustained market demand, Godrej Properties is well-positioned to exceed its FY25 booking guidance and achieve record collections, deliveries, income, and cash flow.
The company’s strategic initiatives and solid financial performance underscore its commitment to strengthening its leadership position in India’s residential real estate market.
